Crop the margins of a PDF
Enter a trim in millimetres and every page's visible area shrinks by that amount on all four edges — great for cutting scanner borders or oversized margins before printing.
Instant and stateless: the file is processed in memory and never stored.
How it works
- 1
Upload your PDF.
- 2
Enter the trim amount in millimetres (e.g. 10).
- 3
Download the cropped PDF immediately.
Cropping adjusts the page's CropBox — the standard, reversible PDF mechanism every viewer honors.
Content is hidden, not destroyed: a PDF editor can restore the full page later if needed — honest by design.
PDF cropping hides margins rather than deleting them (that's how the format works). To permanently remove sensitive content, use Redact.
Crop PDF — questions
Different trim per edge?
This v1 trims all edges equally; per-edge control is on the roadmap.
Will it distort the page?
No — nothing is scaled; the visible window just gets smaller.
