Add text to a PDF

Need an "APPROVED", a date, or a short note on a PDF? Type it and it's placed as real, crisp text on the first page — centered, readable, done.

Instant and stateless: processed in memory, streamed back, never stored.

How it works
  1. 1

    Upload your PDF.

  2. 2

    Type the text to add.

  3. 3

    Download the edited PDF immediately.

The text is a genuine PDF text object — selectable and crisp at any zoom, not a pasted image.

For repeating text on every page (watermarks, page numbers), the Watermark tool is the right instrument.

This v1 places text at a preset position — a click-anywhere visual editor is on the roadmap, and we'd rather ship the honest version than a broken canvas.

Add Text to PDF — questions

Can I pick the exact spot?

Preset positions for now; a visual editor is coming. The watermark tool offers more placement options today.

Can I edit existing text?

That's document conversion — use PDF to Word (TrueLayout), edit in Word, and export back to PDF.
